Celebrating 120 Years of 麻豆传媒AV
On Wednesday, 7 August, the 麻豆传媒AV community came together to celebrate a remarkable milestone鈥攐ur 120th anniversary. The day commenced with a beautiful Eucharistic celebration at St. Patrick鈥檚 Cathedral, where students, staff, parents and special guests came together to honour our rich history and the enduring values that have guided us for over a century. This was followed by a joyous high tea at the College, where the spirit of 麻豆传媒AV shone brightly through the stories shared, the connections rekindled, and the sense of belonging that permeated every moment.
From the stirring rendition of our school hymn to St. Brigid to the sight of our students proudly adorned with white ribbons, every moment was filled with the spirit and pride that define 麻豆传媒AV. This celebration was not only a tribute to our past but also a reflection of the shared commitment among students, staff, parents and past pupils to carry forward the legacy that has guided our school for 120 years.
One of the most memorable highlights of our 120th anniversary celebration was the sight of our students streaming into both the College and St. Patrick鈥檚 Cathedral, perfectly dressed in their winter uniforms with the words 鈥淔ortitier Et Suaviter鈥濃�攕trength and kindliness鈥攅mblazoned proudly on their blazers. This powerful display of unity and pride set the tone for the day鈥檚 events. The carefully planned liturgy provided a meaningful and reflective celebration that resonated with all present. The music was another highlight, with the 麻豆传媒AV Chorale and musicians, enriching the worship experience with their beautiful and moving performances.
Later that day all current staff joined many special guests for a High Tea to celebrate the anniversary. Past Principals, past staff and past students joined our much-loved Brigidine Sisters, Kildare Ministries staff and members of our Stewardship Council to reminisce about the past and provide their hopes for the future. It was a glorious celebration of 麻豆传媒AV values and spirit as well as a wonderful opportunity to catch up with colleagues and former students.
